The website is now up and close to fully operational. Most of the key features have been installed. You can make comments on any posts; Subscribe via RSS (so you’re always in the loop); potentially listen to podcasts from the site; look at Photos; download Bible Studies; and who knows what else.
I hope that this site proves a useful way for staying in touch with the ministry of FOCUS at the University of Canberra, and with Emma and I personally as we seek to serve God in that ministry. Some of the features that I’ve been able to incorporate may not be fully operational for a while, but it’s easier to get these things active at the start rather than trying to plug them in later. I’ve been thinking of ways to use RSS and Podcasting to make Bible Studies and Bible Talks available to people each week.
I think there is great potential for Churches (and groups like FOCUS) to use this technology to further gospel ministry.
I hope that this site proves useful to you and enables people to partner us further in gospel ministry. Please pray with us that all these things would bring glory to God.
